**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our parts department runs efficiently and effectively to support the service department and our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of automotive parts, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Inventory Management:**
- Oversee the ordering, stocking, and inventory control of parts and supplies.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to maintain optimal stock levels.

2. **Team Leadership:**
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage parts department staff.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

3. **Customer Service:**
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts orders and returns promptly.

4. **Sales and Marketing:**
- Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with the sales and service departments to identify parts needs and promote applicable products.

5. **Financial Management:**
- Prepare and manage the parts department's budget and financial goals.
- Analyze sales trends and performance metrics to drive profitability.

6. **Supplier Relations:**
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with parts vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

7. **Compliance and Safety:**
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding parts handling, storage, and disposal.
- Promote workplace safety and adherence to company policies.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in automotive technology, business management, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in parts management within the automotive industry, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a team.
- Proficient in using dealership management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and communication skills.
